Rocco, a young, introverted blue collar worker oppressed by debts, allows himself to be dragged by a friend to a villa outside the city for a job as disturbing as it is financially rewarding: to watch over the young daughter of the owner, who has been dead for just a few hours. Left alone by his friend, Rocco realizes during a night filled with unexpected and disquieting encounters that a painful mystery is hidden behind her death. The truth emerges at dawn. Rocco decides to disregard the cynical agreement among men that destroyed the life of the girl giving her peace and hope to himself.
