Director Paquito del Bosco, a specialist in work on film collections has pieced together a portrait of Fellini based on materials from files made available by the RAI (Italian Radio and Television). For instance, he utilized a radio fragment of 1952, when filming of Lo Sceicco Bianco was at the very end; an interview from 1975 on the Oscar award for Amarcord, and also, from statements on La Dolce Vita, 8 1/2, Giulietta degli Spiriti, and Satyricon. All of these testimonies are in black and white, with the exception of one, where he comments on the fact he never filmed Il Viaggio di Mastorna. He also includes statements by Georges Simenon, Ingmar Bergman and Frank Perry, among others. Fellini amuses spectators with curious remarks on free time and on Sundays.

PAQUITO DEL BOSCO

Born in Tirana, Albania, in 1942. He has devoted himself to work on material from files, not only on filmmaking, but also on television or radiophonics. For instance, he organized the edition of 50 LPs from the series Fonografo Italiano, with songs from the start of the century, and radio and TV programs. His greatest efforts, however, relate to cinema where he has carried out programs and series such as Come Eravamo, ABC degli Anni Sessanta, Tempo di Guerra, I Primi Dieci Anni di Pace and others. He works as a consultant at the RAI.
