Over the course of one week, Eduardo Coutinho and his team talked to 27 residents of a huge apartment building in Copacabana. Among the ones interviewed are a middle aged couple brought together by a lonely hearts newspaper column, a prostitute who supports her daughter and sister, a retired actor, a former soccer player and a doorman who suspects his adopted father, whohe dreams of every night, to be his real father.

One of the greatest Brazilian documentary filmmakers, he directed the films Twenty Years Later (1985), The Mighty Spirit (1999), Playing (2007) and As Canções (2011, 35th Mostra). The 37th Mostra is paying tribute to the director with a complete retrospective of his films.
