The career of Italian Elio Petri (1929-1982), director of classics in political cinema such as Investigation of a Private Citizen (1970) and The Working Class Goes to Heaven (1972) is reconstituted by means of his interviews with his collaborators and actors. Amongst many: Bernardo Bertolucci, Robert Altman, Florinda Bolkan, Tonino Guerra, Franco Nero, Vanessa Redgrave, Gillo Pontecorvo.

FEDERICO BACCI

Federico Bacci Born in Livorno, in 1973. After studies in art, he was curator for film, theater, and fine arts exhibitions. In 2003, he wrote the plot and the script for B.B. e Il Cormorano, that was part of the Critics Week at the Cannes Film Festival. Stefano Leone Born in Pietrasanta, Sicily, in 1975. He majored in music and video in Italy. He traveled to the U.S. where he studied acting and directing. In 2000, he helped to organize an Elio Petri retrospective. Nicola Guarneri Born in Florence, in 1974. He worked as lighting technician for theater and dance companies before starting cinema with the same position.
