The new president for the oldest triad in Hong Kong, the Wo Shing Society, is elected every two years. The triad really does exist - a secret society of aged Chinese men that holds the power in various points of the country, and in existence since the seventeenth century. The rivalry between candidates is very strong. Lok is the favorite; however, his opponent Big D spares no efforts to change the scenario and does not hesitate to go against tradition and resort to the use of money and violence to attain his objectives. This struggle for power may actually split the triad in two.
