Two subjective visions on the same events of a clandestine love story, which is sharply interrupted. The “real world” is at stake with the irruption of desire. Ana, a young and beautiful obstetrician, goes to a party organized by a colleague. Two encounters that will have an impact on her life took place that night: she meets Fernando, a married architect several years older than her, with whom she falls in love; and she also meets Alex again, a friend and persisting suitor, recently divorced, father of Azul; a seven year old girl. After that night when they run away together, (though later they will recall different versions of the same fact), Ana and Fernando build a relationship parallel to his marriage, which gradually becomes unbearable. Fernando and Ana have a peculiar idea about life: which is the true real world? Ana keeps waiting for him a sunday afternoon, at a curious art installation, a labyrinth which transports Ana into her own memories, without imagining what is going on. Unaware that he is looking at her without being seen, unaware of the fact that while she is waiting for him, Fernando decides to leave. The film starts some years later than that Sunday afternoon. Ana has now a relationship with Alex and his little daughter Azul, with whom she keeps a powerful identification.
