Hormones, ballads, friends treading an unruly path towards adulthood. As for all boys aged 17, these ingredients are in full play in the lives of Julio and Tenoch. Things get hotter with the arrival on the scene of Louisa, who is married with a Tenoch’s cousin. The three meet at a lively family party where both boys try to make it with Louisa and she gladly allows herself to be taken along. For the sheer fun of it, Julio and Tenoch make up a trip to a certain beach named Boca del Cielo and invite her along: they do not tell her, however, that they do not even know where the beach is. In great need of a change in environment and new experiences, Louisa accepts. The three set off, not necessarily to Boca del Cielo beach, but towards that strange point in life where innocence, sexuality, and friendship collide, and where maturity awaits patiently to collect the debris.
