Vera is a thirty something years old singer who returns to Lisbon to end a series of concerts. In the city, everything is warm and beautiful: it makes her want to be happy. Pablo is the companion that she chose through a questionnaire; he helps her in her sleepless nights. He doesn’t have a family, but would like to, and Vera is interested in the mysteries of his life. She is not afraid of the night or anything; she is not attached to anything. In her house, far away, is Sam, the man that she loves. They just understand each other when they are apart : and only by writing. When a boy who is protected by Pablo commits a murder, Vera decides to protect him under her wings. The child is the presage of a calm uncertainty.
