The return to the big screen of Maurício de Souza’ gang after a 14-year hiatus. In this movie, Franjinha invents a machine that transforms comics into cartoons. The action begins with Franjinha’ new invention, a projector-blender-of-comic-books, which throws the whole gang into a variety of adventures. This thingamajig swallows the comics and projects their stories onto the movie screens. Mônica, Cebolinha, Cascão and Magali go to the inauguration of the device, and at the movies and on the screen, a series of stories plays out, placing the characters in the path of Luciano Huck, Fernanda Lima, Wanessa Camargo, the pair Pedro and Thiago and Maurício de Souza himself.
