Dora, age 51, is a maid for Mrs Beba, age 59, for whom she has worked for 35 years. Beba had a good social position, but successive crises, both economic and personal, that have led her to experience a period of decadence. For the time being, she sells beauty products to survive. Dora is building a house on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, but cannot finish building because she hasn?t had any salary for the last six months. Beba finds a way and produces the money. Dora then finishes building the house and moves in there with Miguel, her boyfriend. Beba finds herself obliged to rent her apartment to pay the bills and is left with no place to live in. Dora is to come to her assistance.
