The Great Magician Tulan travels over the arid pathways of a desert with his wife Marta. They are joined along the way by mysterious Jenifer, traveling to Chile for an operation that will change her sex, Tachuelita, a dwarf, beautiful young Martita and, to make up the troupe, twin nuns, Ana and Maria (played by actresses Noemi and Liliana Serantes, sisters in real life). Although each one has personal objectives of his/her own, each manages to integrate into this Millenium latter-day Brancaleone Army. In a vast world, where loneliness and abandonment are rife, each gazes out towards a different horizon. Some find the horizon. Others not.
