Uma menina se afoga no canal de uma zona industrial e a única testemunha é Andi, um rapaz de 19 anos. Ele conta tudo o que sabe para o comissário, mas o pai de Kaja quer falar com ele. Antes de ser questionado, ele se lembra que já havia presenciado outro acidente com Kaja: apesar de ser proibida de andar pela região, ela havia caído no canal alguns dias antes. O diretor Wolfgang Becker participou da 18ª Mostra com o longa "Jogos de Criança".

WOLFGANG BECKER

Born in Hemer, Germany, in 1954. Director and screenwriter, he studied History and American Studies at the Free University of Berlin, and cinema in the German Academy of Film and Television. Schmetterlinge (1988, 18th Mostra), his first feature film, won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival. He also directed Child`s Play (1992, 18th Mostra), Life is All You Get (1997, 21st Mostra), Good Bye Lenin! (2003, 27th Mostra) and was one of the directors of Welcome to São Paulo (2004, 28th Mostra), a collective film produced by Mostra and dedicated to Abbas Kiarostami. He was part of the jury of the 30th Mostra.
