What happens when the wall that separates a small country called Sbórnia from de rest of the world accidently falls? Stopped in time, the people from Sbórnia is now hit by winds of modernity coming from the big city. Conflicts caused by the violent culture shock mess up the lives of protagonists Kraunus and Pletskaya, two famous sbornian musicians. As a result of the continental interference in ingrained habits in Sbórnia, some natives awaken old forgotten beliefs and are put to rescue their identity as sbornians. Based on the musical-theater Tangos & Tragédias, created by Hique Gomez and Nico Nicolaiewsky.

OTTO GUERRA
OTTO GUERRA

Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1957. He produced, among others, the short films O Natal do Burrinho (1984), Treiler - A Última Tentativa (1986), O Reino Azul (1989) and Novela (1992). In 1994, he released his first feature film as director, Rocky & Hudson: Os Caubóis Gays. Later, Guerra directed the short films Knight George (2000, 24 th Mostra) and Nave Mãe (2004), and the features Wood & Stock: Sexo, Orégano e Rock’n’roll (2006) and Até que a Sbórnia Nos Separe (2013, 37 th Mostra).
ENNIO TORRESAN JR.
ENNIO TORRESAN JR.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, he studied fine arts at the Federal University of Rio and has been working in Los Angeles for 19 years. He directed the animated short El Macho (1993) and was a writer and storyboard director for Spongebob Squarepants. He has created storyboards for sequels such as Madagascar (2005, 2008, 2012) and Kung Fu Panda (2008, 2011), Megamind (2012) and Turbo (2013), this one as a supervisor of the storyboard department.
