Mihiro kills her uncle who has raped her, taking advantage of her hopeless situation. Leaving home for the first time of her life, she meets Hideki who struggles with his psychological chaos. He finds her torturing herself because of her trauma, and then he sacrifices himself for his “blood action painting” to share her sorrow and pain. They shut themselves up in the atelier and get absorbed in having sex. Realizing the blood rules their emotion and desire, they finally cut their body and suck each other’ blood. They believe they will be spiritually one after connecting deeply enough.

HIDEKI KITAGAWA

Born in Kyoto, Japan, in 1964, he graduated from the City University of New York and worked as director and writer for productions in the US. Coming back to Japan in 2001, he has been an instructor for film & video making at the Tokyo Visual Arts College. This is his first feature film.
