Zetterstriom, a celebrated Danish pianist, returns from the U.S. to Kopenhagen for a gala concert. He is a pecfectionist by nature with only one difficulty: he cannot remember part of his past. One day he is contacted by a mysterious messenger and gradually discovers the reason for his flight to New York: his love for captivating Andréa. Now Zetterstriom wishes at all costs to recover his lost past. This desire, however, may be no more than an illusion.

Born in Denmark in 1974. His first feature film, Reconstruction (2003), won the Camera d`Or for best first feature in Cannes. He also directed Allegro (2005, 29th Mostra), Offscreen (2006, 30th Mostra), Everything Will Be Fine (2010, 34th Mostra) and Beast (2011). Sex, Drugs & Taxation is his sixth feature film.
