The origens of artist Andy Warhol are made known in a journey through Eastern Europe. His family heritage was found to be in the town of Medzilaborce and in the neighborhood of Mikavá village, in Slovakia. Warhol`s family have always lived in this same region and had only the vaguest notion of his artistic activities. His name became legend, an imaginary and distant vision to the reality of his uncles, aunts, and cousins, at least, after they heard over the television that Andy Warhol was not merely a painter of walls in New York, as they hadalways thought, but rather an artist knawn the world over.

STANISLAW MUCHA

Born in Nowy Targ, in Poland, in 1970, he studied theater in teh Ludwig Solski school and graduated in 1993. In, 1995, he decided to go to Berlin to study film directing at Konrad Wolf College in Babesberg, and completed the course in 2000. He also directed two feature documentaries, Polish Passion, and Back Home to the Reich With Bubi.
