A train station in Geneva, Switzerland and three types, three investigations, one story. A scientist, a veritable brain, is on his way to Marseille, in France, to lecture at a conference. A man is on his way to Berlin, in Germany, to see his new-born baby son, but is not aware the train makes a stop overnight. In this interval, he meets another woman with an irresistible air of freedom, and spends the night with her. A young Italian woman living in Switzerland since she was born, is moving to Naples, in Italy, because she believes her roots are there. When someone invites himself to sit next to someone else in a train, a new reality may begin. Three people meet, three life stories cross each other on the train station platform. And one question must be answered: how do people deal with reality in day-to-day life?
