Little is known about the catastrophe Anna and Hannah have escaped. On a desolate island they find an abandoned house where Anna takes care of Hannah. Hannah’s fragile condition reminds the two lovers that their time together is coming to an end. One day Hannah sees someone on the beach. The intruder is Death, who followed them to the island.


Presented at the Big Screen Competition at Rotterdam Film Festival.

Urszula Antoniak

Born in Czestochowa, Poland. She studied film production at the Polish Film Academy and directing at the Dutch Film Academy. She has written and directed the features Nothing Personal (2009), winner of the Critics award and Best First Feature award at Locarno Film Festival; Code Blue (2011), Nude Area (2014) and Beyond Words (2017), presented at the 41st Mostra.
