Studied visual communication as well as art and media at the Berlin University of Arts. She also studied cinematography in Film University in Potsdam Babelsberg, Germany, and at the ISA, in Havana, Cuba. Antonia worked as cinematographer for several films, created video installations and directed documentary shorts. She co-directed the medium-length documental Xwebûn, in 2016. The Other Side of the River is her first feature film.
