Mervi is a gay girl who lives in the hipster quarters of Hensinki. She has been living with her girlfriend, Kata, for almost a year. Finally, they are ready to reveal their relationship. But they still need to tell their families: Mervi’s parents may accept the situation more easily than Kata’s —the girl’s parents live in Berlin and are muslims. The women need to gather courage to tell Kata’s mother, a famous politician, when she comes to Helsinki to visit her daughter.
